A) He shouldn't have done that... and B) she shouldn't have been so harsh.

omfg, I was rolling! :hystericlaugh

Hubby says: "SPOILED BITCH"

THAT'S what I was laughing at to clarify. "How you gonna support me?!" Fill in "and my shoe habit!" What about a ring?! What ABOUT a ring??

I totally feel for this poor guy, I really do. I'm not being sarcastic about it. This poor guy deserved better than what happened to him. :[

Yeah, it's a total set-up. It completely manipulated the woman, and she was pretty darn offended (I think rightfully so). I don't think she was a bitch- it's pretty clear that they hadn't really had any sort of conversation about a future together, and here he is putting her on the spot. He didn't even know that she expected him to support her (that's her idea of a marriage), and she didn't know that he was heading in this direction.

Man, when you do a public proposal (baseball game/sports event/reality TV show/radio call) you've got to be pretty sure that (a) she's okay with it being public, and (b) she's gonna say yes.

Some people are clueless about things like that, maybe.

Caller ID? Maybe she saw it was the radio and was kinda excited that they would be calling. But who knows. :giggle I didn't really think about it being staged.

That's just fucked up.

1. It is sweet- he tried to go out of his way to surprise her and be romantic- no matter the outcome- he really did try and it's the thought that counts.

2. She's a total bitch. Shes ungrateful, and didn't you hear her say "So how am I going to quit my job if you can't support me".. um WTF!

3. She's has no idea what real love is. My husband proposed to me the day before he got shipped off to Iraq. There was no romance- we were both in tears about the upcoming deployment, and he asked me to marry him while he had mucus dribbling down his face. For me- that was enough. I wouldn't have cared if he got me a ring or not- but it came in the mail 6 months later because he bought it online while he was in Iraq.

I feel bad for that guy because he got stomped on. It was completely unfair to him, and he deserves better. She's a total bitch.
