Ok so if I book a one way ticket going to SNA airport in Cali and then go to another website to book my return flight back to MD.. I shouldn't have any problems when I get to the SNA airport to come back home on the 9th right?

I have never booked my going and return like this.. I usually just do a round trip but I need to get in and leave after certain times. When looking at roundtrip it is impossible for me to do that but if I book one threw one site and then my return threw another I can..

Advice!?!?

Shouldn't be a problem at all. I have actually done just this when booking travel for DD (she flies UM) because there were no roundtrip plans that fit what we needed schedule wise.

I don't think it would be a problem. They'd be looked at as two individual trips. Have you tried contacting the airline directly, explaining the situation and the fact that you were able to book it separately to meet you needs? The customer service reps at the airlines are given quite a bit of leeway to make adjustments.

Good luck!

yep, no problems. i did this for a flight for work & saved $200 vs booking a round trip.

where you run into trouble is booking more than one airline on a one way trip, because of your luggage needing to transfer airlines on you layover.

It shouldn't be to hard. But I would recommend calling the customer service people and mentioning military. Sometimes they're willing to help a little bit more that way.
