His cousin is currently deployed in Iraq with my SO's company. :) How did Secondhand Serenade come about? He used to just write songs and sing them to his wife. His wife kept telling him he should make a demo and give it to recording companies. He never did. So she brought the recording companies to his house. Glassnotes Records came over and listened to him play and signed him on the spot. He has 2 albums out. The first is all acoustic and the second album too old and new songs alike and added a full band to them. All the vocals are done by John (singer, songwriter, guitarist). I love him!!
