You would think this being my 5th deployment I would know this by now... BUT
I am in the last month of my deployment and wanted to know if it was normal to fustrated and aggrevated with everyone and everything.
I am mad at my mom, my really good friend, my sister, my kids, another one of my friends, just about everyone..... DH just got in on the deal too :wow Now he's gone and made me mad.
UGH
It can't be ALL the people in my life.... So it MUST be me. I am just so over trying to keep everything together and make everything 'perfect'. I am so DONE, I just want it to be all over and my best friend / hubby to be home.
I am just so fustrated! Was/ Is anyone else this fustrated?

I havent been in your situation hon. However, you are going on a freaking emotional roller coaster. You want him to be home and perfect like you said-that can be a little pressure i know. Take a breather. HE WILL BE HOME SOON :) You are just getting sick of the deployment which is completly understandable. I have heard the beginning and the end is the worst. Hang in there. Go get yourself a massage. YOU ARE ALMOST DONE :)
fyi: its normal :P

Yep. Normal. :) You've shouldered the burden and carried on and now you just want to be done. done. DONE! You have no more patience for the sympathetic questions, temper tantrums and worries over stupid things. You've held it all in check this whole time and now you've got to let it out. :hugs It will get better within a couple months after your DH gets home. It sounds like you guys need at least a weekend if not two away from the kids to hang out and readjust. Don't feel guilty if you do, because you need husband and wife time so you both can be mommy and daddy again.

Yes, my frustration grows the closer we get to the end. Our 1st one, I was just so excited at the end, this time around, I feel pissed off and frustrated.

You are one strong woman! What you're going through is totally normal. It's like the circle of life or something. Just focus on the fact that he'll be home soon! :cp

Thank you for all your support and encouragement. Yes -- this is my 5th deployment -- however 4 of them have only been 6 months, only one was 10 months. I feel like a wuss complaining after 5 months when some of these ladies have done 12, 15, 18 month deployments.
Anyways - I talked to my mom (who is a former military wife - my dad retired from the Navy) and she say she understands and that she will try to be more respectful of how she words things for the next month. She has a way of being harsh and inconsiderate. LOL :)
Things are looking better (not perfect) but better today!
THANK YOU!
