Hi everyone! I'm Jen. I came across this site and I'm not sure if it's appropriate for me to be here or not. My boyfriend and I met online during his last 3 months of being stationed in HI after 2 deployments overseas. He just got out of the marines at the end of April and is on 4 years req. reserves. None of my friends or family have been in the military while I've been alive & I feel rather oblivious to the effects. My bf and I met in person a little over a month ago & fell in love. Only a few days ago he said he wasn't sure he was ready for a relationship and seems to be showing symptoms of PTSD. I came across this site & was hoping to find a community where I could begin to understand what's going on with my bf, even if it's only as a friend. I hope I get a chance to know some of you better during all of this!
