i have been told that I am related to Belinda Carlisle somehow. My mothers maiden name is Carlisle. She does share similar facial features as my mother and Aunt Connie. However I don't know who in my family ever lived in Australia. My mother doesn't know many people on her fathers side of the family cause he molested her when she was little... so I have never been able to fully investigate it.

My FIL and his brothers are somewhat famous among the bluegrass music circut. They have played with Vince Gill, Emmelou Harris, Alison Krauss, and tons of others that I can't think of right now.

My grandmother is of the Virginia Lees, who are descended from various American figureheads such as Lighthorse Harry Lee, Robert E. Lee and a couple signers of various Revolution documents. And since all those Lees were distinguished members of the Virginia gentry they all intermarried with other famous families, like the Washingtons. I hit a brick wall on that genelogical pursuit though if boredom strikes I may tackle it again.
