In a week I will be be traveling to Paris and London for two weeks. My husband is in training, so my mother and sister are coming over to travel with me. I just booked our (mine and my husband's) trip to Egypt for 8 days over Thanksgiving week. I'm looking forward to it, but it's so far away!

My husband is done at the end of July so I'm looking to book a trip sometime between August and October for us. I haven't been on a cruise in a couple years and my husband has never been on one, so I'd really like to go. I know that this time frame isn't the most ideal for cruises, since most people go in the Spring/Summer. But has anyone been on any cruises in Europe? What ship? Did you enjoy it? I'm looking for any input or ideas!

Have you looked into river cruises. I use to book alot of cruises on the Danube River and everyone that went had nothing but good things to say about it and the ship. The ships are alot smaller then an ocean cruise. More intimate. And with the ship being smaller, when you dock theres no need to take a tender to shore. Plus you have alot of access to areas the big ships can't get to and theres no waiting in long lines to get on or off ships. Cruises in the Mediterranean are really nice but $$$. You do see alot as well. Some I've seen leave from Barcelona and end in Italy. And then theres the train to travel back on which are really nice as well in Europe. But I would look into a river cruise since you've done the big cruise line already.

Good luck and have fun. If you have any questions just PM me.
