so yesterday I posted how it had been 9 days since I heard from DB. Well I just had a very brief 5 minute im convo with him. Which was wonderful, though much too short.

I just got back from work and he was on. I said hello and he immediately mentioned the webcam which I just purchased and hadn't got to use with him yet. But the thing wasn't working so I tried restarting the computer. Then when I was back on it still wouldn't work and he had to go. :no :sigh It's better then nothing.

Sometimes I wish he would tell me when he only has a little time to talk. I wouldn't have been playing and trying to get the camera to work.
Gawd I miss him!

HUGS I know EXACTLY how you feel DB and I had the same experience. Hang in there. You'll get it working soon. Download Skype if you haven't already its works the best. Did you get the webcam to work? I'll PM you my Skype account name if you want to try to get it working before the next time you have him online.

I haven't really tried skype yet, but I will. Thanks for the offer, I'm going to take you up on that. I have an old Mac and no webcam built in and it makes things difficult. I'm going to take a shower now, get something to eat and work on this a little later.

That happened to us and I finally just broke down and bought a laptop with a webcam built in. It's made all the difference in the world.

God i know the feeling. Its like please tell me if you are on a time limit. That is the worst when you don't know. I hope you get to talk again soon.

Pleased you heard from him. I like skype too. I usually say to my boyfriend "How long have you got" - I've just learnt from experience (especially with my previous slow hard-drive) that he'd often have to go and couldn't wait for me to restart a few times LOL which would leave me in tears. Hopefully you get to chat again soon.

I hope it works out next time for you...just think how fantastic it is that you will actually be able to see him!

:cp yay! I got to talk to DB again this morning and the webcam worked! Unfortunately it was only for about 5 minutes again, but it was still really nice! He said a real short and sudden goodbye- just said gtg and signed off so I never got to ask if he'll be on again soon or tell him I love him. Still made my day though! :D
