DH and I live on base, and we're taking a walk. We walked by a house that had their dog in their driveway in a cage that was clearly way too small. His head was hitting the top of the cage and you tell it couldn't possibly be easy for him to turn around, and they had another smaller dog in the cage as well. There's no way both of those dogs could of laid down in that cage. DH and I we're totally shocked and thought that is so mean to do to your pets.
We we're wondering if there's anything we can do about that on base. Clearly that's no way to treat your pets. :no

yes you can start by calling housing and letting them know of the situation as well as asking them what you can do about it. You can also call your local SPCA to see what the rules are concerning caging your animal correctly.
