This is only my opinion.

This was possibly the worst movie I have ever seen. It completely sucked. It wasnt scary at all and it hardly made any sense. Surely M. Night can do better next time.

I am so glad I did not waste my money going to the theater to see this. I really would have been pissed.

Its about nature being pissed at us. The trees and grass and shit release toxins that make people kill themselves. Its not a horror movie at all in my opinion. And the previews totally make it look better than it is. False advertising

I really don't think it was as bad as everyone has been saying...again just my opinion. I'm also a total movie snob haha so that's saying a lot. It was an interesting idea...it didn't make total sense but it wasn't really supposed to and it was shot beautifully. The acting was I'm pretty sure intentionally bad and if not it was still not as bad as say Fraility (the worst movie ever made.)

If you are one of those people that only goes to the movies to see the best than you should totally pass it up. If not it is worth the watch.

I think the concept was good.
Horrible acting.
Bad execution.

That's too bad that it wasn't great. I actually haven't decided if I want to see it or not. I don't really do horror movies though, but if it wasn't really "horror"...

I did think it was interesting/strange that in the previews they were saying that it's his first R-rated movie. Like "go see it, it's rated R!"

I don't think he's made an A-quality movie in years :no

His last three movies have been horrible IMO.

I completely agree. It could have been better executed.....and honestly could have been the scariest of ANY of his movies. I mean we're all surrounded by nature right?

Terrible terrible acting.......even mark wallburg could not save this movie!

IMO all of his movies in the passed like 8 years have been stupid. Why would this one be and different? So I'm not going to go see it.

He's said that he intentionally made it B-movie quality.

Or did he say that because he was disappointed with the final cut? haha jk

I've heard from a couple people that it sucked. The previews make it look rather interesting, tho.

DB saw it without me... I don't dig horror and since it was looking like it might have been one he opted to go alone and save me (aww...) Anyways, he said the acting was horrible and they killed the best actor early on (John Leguizamo? sp???)... anyways... yea... :shrug

I'm not surprised. I haven't seen it, but the only one of his movies that I ever thought was good was the Sixth Sense

I thought it sucked and I am usually one of his biggest fans.

The actors looked ridiculous trying to look scared of the wind and trees.
The first 20 minutes while they were in the city were great, the rest was just a mess.

exactly! what you see in the previews does NOT represent the movie at all.
