Yesterday we gained three new pets :wowsers Jason told me no more pets can die since losing one cat ended up with us having two cats and a new puppy :lol
I really wasn't planning on it ending up this way but the puppy is only four weeks old, it's mother stopped nursing it. The mother dog belongs to the mother of one of our neighbors and our neighbor had this puppy and a litter mate. Unfortunately the lady of the house severely injured her back so we ended up taking the puppy sooner than expected so that she didn't have to care for two puppies and her step-son. So far though the pup is doing great, feeding him a puppy formula and puppy chow mix. He's a big eater and good pooper so far, even though it's only been a day.
And of course Jason wanted a new kitten since we lost Smeagol. I know it's because he felt really bad and the kids have been missing the cat (also the dog has). We ended up with two because they are brothers and the lady who raised them (she fosters kittens for the shelters around here and also takes in other strays) wanted them to go together since they are bonded. Those two are having tons of fun and one of them already loves to wrestle with the puppy. He's even taken a few swats at Apollo as well. They are great with the kids too, just a couple of cuddle bugs.
I'm going to post some pictures in the picture forum.
