Anyone going to watch this tonight? I think all teens should watch... I told Matt that we should watch it, he said, 'Why would I want to watch that, it looks dumb'

I laughed. We are watching it tonight. :rofl

I haven't seen the previews or anything about it but the reality of my life was that I had a baby at 16. I had no damn choice but to buck up and raise a child. I think teens who become pregnant and decide to keep a baby wake up and do the right thing but it take the pregnancy process to solidify that bond. If someone had handed me a baby without the emotional involvement of a pregnancy and it being my own child it would have been a whole different ball game. If this show is attempting to show how bad of a job teens will do or how "funny" it will be to see them flounder, well I just don't find that amusing:dunno

There was a lady on the Today show this morning that had volunteered to let her baby be part of it. The clip that they showed made it seem like the teens were in this ladies house taking care of the baby though. Maybe not.

I've already got it set to record. Yay for DVR!

My curiosity is peaked. I'll be DVR'ing it. They couldn't have asked for better timing, with all the teenage baby pact news lately.

Aundi, that's a very good point you brought up. They don't LOVE these babies. But I still think it will be a good eye opener for teens.

I think its a great idea to show teens that there not ready...I mean yes I know there are some teen moms that turn out great...but if you trying to get pregnant as a teen when you can do soooo many other things in life this is great!

Those of you who watched it what did you think?

I thought it was a real eye opener for those of the girls that had wanted a baby.

I know, if it were my baby I don't think I would have been able to hold out from going over there. What I don't understand is, they had the Nanny there to help if it got to be too much. I didn't see any of them getting involved when those poor babies were screaming their lungs off.

i think the nanny is only there if there was like a life or death situation or something. it's up to those couples to figure out what to do if the babies are screaming their lungs off.

I watched it earlier today (had to dvr it)

I really liked the show. And wish it was something i could have done before I got knocked up at 15. I was really bothered by the girl that wanted nothing to do w/ the baby because the mom got on her for not feeding him.

Yeah that really irritated me. Shows how immature they really are.

:yes I just started watching this in the WE channel and I couldn't believe her attitude. It's like, you've got this woman's child! She just bugged the crapola out of me.

ETA: I think the parents that volunteered their kids for this show are courageous and insane! I am attached to my baby, and I am still very picky about who he is left with, only my mom, or grandma (for short periods of time), ever.
