My dad got his doctorate from UT so we lived there for 5 years or so. (Go Vols) We've considered moving back once my husband gets out of the Navy. Not that that helps you now. :)

I live in north knoxville, but I'm kinda outta the loop for hanging out, my car ate the back end of a suv and a concrete divider. I think there are like 2 other ppl on here from knoxville tho.

Fort Campbell, KY. It's an Army base. I couldn't tell what branch you were affliated with, so I tossed that out there. I also have figured out my geography and I'm thinking of Nashville being closer to that base. Sorry!

I live off merchants with my parents. We can get together sometime, if you want, but I can't do it for like the next 2 weeks, DH is graduating boot and coming home, then we're driving him to maryland. PM me if you want and I'll give you my cell #. I know what you mean, I've got a 6 month old and pretty much raise him by myself. Parents are a lil help, but you know.

My best friend lives near Knoxville, in Marysville. I go out there a couple times a year to visit her!

and yes, Ft Campbell is pretty close to Nashville... about 30 minutes ish.

I'm from half way between Chattanooga and Nashville. Went to UT in Knoxville, married the love of my life and we got stationed at Ft. Campbell! So the easiest way to describe it is a triangle Knoxville is one point, Chattanooga is the second, and Ft. Campbell is the third. Nashville is between Ft.C and Chat. and 3 hours up to Knoxville.
