are good to ask the Real Estate Agent or former owners about the house?? By that I mean, the heating, foundation etc-I hope you understand what I mean-I have heard that you should go in the process with a list of questions regarding the house you want & I just want to make sure to know the right ones to ask kwim?? TIA:wink

To be honest, anything you'd need to know about the house should be asked to the inspector if you choose to buy it. Unless something raises a red flag. I mean, you can ask the owners how they like living there... or if there was anything about the neighborhood that they particularly liked or disliked...

I mean, you can always ask them point blank if there's anything wrong with the house that is making them move... but the inspector will find all of that stuff, that's why you pay them!

I hope that helps at all :hugs

So far we've asked;

Why the house has been on the market for so long. (510 days. Cheyenne has been ranked #2 city in the nation with homes on the market for least amount of days so 510 days is a concern. The layout and bedroom sizes don't appeal to many the listing agent said. I don't know why, we like it just fine)

Whats the deal with the community well (No deal we just pay a little bit for the upkeep of the well and get all the water we need)

Whats the Contingency (someone already put in an offer but they need to sell their house first. Good news for us. We move into first position today!!!)

Our realtor said its a good idea to look around the neighborhood and talk with the neighbors. Find out about the schools in the area. Ask any questions we can think of.
