Which company do you recommend?:dunno goood question me too me too i would love to know those answers!:tu:tu Ma*Becca 06-28-2008, 02:32 PM I don't have any but we've looked into this place! http://www.petcareinsurance.com/index.asp Right now I just have credit care which is credit you can use for dental, vision, plastic surgery and vet bills. I haven't used it for my pet yet but it sure does come in handy for things thrown at you last min. Good luck hun! Jennygirl 06-28-2008, 07:17 PM none, sometimes its either worth it or its not...you have to read the fine print. OneRed911 06-28-2008, 09:39 PM Yeah, it's best to shop around and find the one that suits your needs best. Some cover things others don't like some will cover some regular visits and some won't cover pre-existing conditions or breed-specific issues. Some people swear by one company that another refuses to have anything to do with so it's really best to do your own research. Good luck! NavyWife.Moody 06-29-2008, 12:57 PM i just signed up for the petcare insurance. I like it alot. I choose the 70% coverage for my dog and cat and got a discount for having my dog and cat on their insurance. I think its rather cheap too and they have alot of different choices to choose from. After 30 days my 70% of vet fees kick in plus the 100 deductable and thats when Im taking my shepard to the vet to get her rabies and etc shots. Also to get her hips checked out. Since i have no pre existing vet appt's I got all of it covered. :] Sonyador 06-29-2008, 01:04 PM We got ours through PetSmart kiwimumoftwo 06-29-2008, 02:48 PM I'm not in America but I've always had pet insurance for my german shepherds! It's sooooooo worth it. I think I pay about $500.00 per year - that's $3,000 cover for vets and $3,000 for specialist/alternative therapies. Definitely means having treatment is possible rather than having to put dog down due to not having the funds! I wouldn't be without it. Beats not being able to pay and either giving the dog up to a rescue shelter so they can take over the vet bill and/or putting the dog down :eek ... We have 3,000 per incident any kind (car or land lol) unlimited amount of claims and 3,000 per medical claim plus a 100 deductable and 70% off vet fees :cp:D I love it!!:P Shaky 06-29-2008, 05:43 PM I really want to get insurance for our kittens but I'm still looking around. |
