Ok, now that I've vented about it, I can be happy again! Sorry to repeat myself, but I am so happy! Here's the story to go with the vent :giggle
So, I'm getting ready for DB's dad's retirement. His sister calls me and tells me that they are running early. I was like, "Crap, I'm not ready!" About 15 mins later I hear a knock at the door. I opened it to find DB standing there! What a way to start the day huh? We spent the weekend with his family. Except Friday night of course :hump:attack:sex
It was a great weekend full of meeting the rest of his family, games, mini golf, bar-b-q, cuddling on the couch watching UFC, and talking, talking, and more talking.
Well, we took him to the airport on Sunday morning. I was so sad to see him leaving of course. As we sat there together waiting for his plane he turned to me and gave me a cute little ring and said, "This is just for now. I'll get you a 'real' engagement ring as soon as I can. I love you and I want to marry you."
Oh, I couldn't say anything. I just grabbed him and held him for what seemed like hours.

Now we just have to decide the best time. We were thinking as soon as he graduates from tech school since his first duty station is overseas. We'll talk more when I go visit him in 2 weeks. I can't wait for that alone time!!!!!
