Ok, I went to the clinic on base today and I had to get some bloodwork done. Well, the older guy(he's about 55 or so) that takes the blood called me and this other women(she's military) back to draw our blood at the same time, and he decides to take hers first. While he was taking her blood she was breathing really heavily. After he took the needle out, he asked her to hold the gauze pad on there. The whole time I'm sitting in the other chair just waiting for my turn. All of a sudden, the other woman passes out!!! Her hand fell off her arm, so blood starts pouring out again!!!! The guy was trying to stop the bleeding and then she had a siezure!!! So the guy was trying to keep her from bleeding and hold her still at the same time. I ran out to the desk and told the guys there, then went back into the room and was helping the guy hold her still, because she was still convulsing. A bunch of people ran in right as the woman woke up, so I stepped back and one of the dr's told me to leave the room. So I went back into the waiting room. Eventually the guy came back and took me back to the room again. The woman was still sitting there awake, and I made sure she was ok. So the guy sticks me and had just finished taking the blood, but hadn't taken the needle out of my arm yet, and the woman passed out again!!!! I pulled the needle out of my arm an wrapped it with the gauzy stuff(he had it out and ready) and I went to him and helped make sure she didn't fall out of the chair. He hollared down the hallway, and got help. A bunch of guys came in and took her to another room, and I sat back down in the chair, and the guy kinda turns to me and notices that I had kinda bandaged myself up. The guy kinda chuckled and said, "Well you're really a trooper huh?? You should have my job!" I kinda laughed and told him the othe woman had more serious problems then being left with a needle in her arm:P So yeah, that was my incredibly wierd day at the clinic.

That's kinda what I thought!! But she was speaking when I went back in the2nd time and she had an ice pack on her head. I think she passed out the 2nd time because she was watching me get my blood drawn.
