A poll is coming in, so please wait and vote, then tell me what you think.
DB ordered my engagement ring. It's almost here and he's planning to ask me to marry him. I'm so excited!!
Now, his bday is coming up in a couple weeks and I have been trying to think what I can get him for his bday. I don't have a lot of money so it has to be under $100 and I have been thinking that I want to give him an engagement ring of his own.
I was also thinking to ask him to marry me on his bday. His bday lands on a Friday so I can definitely do something fun...and I think he would think its awesome if I asked him to marry me. What do you guys think?
It's either this or a digital frame...
:edit
**** For those that haven't voted yet, my thread is being misunderstood. I AM going to wait until AFTER DB has asked me to marry him because I do not want to rain on his parade. So AFTER he asks me...I think I want to give him an engagement ring of his own. I think he'd be stoked. Okay....now that I have clarified...please vote!

I agree. I wouldn't wanna rain on his parade.
I gave DB a digital picture frame with pictures of us and his family and he totally loved it!

If you think he would like it, go for it. I know Joe would have hated it because he wanted to do it. It was a man thing for him :lol
but you know him and you know what he likes.

Honestly, I would wait for him to ask you. Obviously he is getting ready to ask you, and I'm sure he has some big plans!
It's a wonderful & sweet idea ofcourse, but nah I'd wait.
Be patient girly, he is keeping you on your toes for a reason! :)

I'd wait for him to ask you - he's bought the ring and may have something special planned - lots of guys still want to do the asking - but it's your call. I like the digital frame idea too.
He already ordered your ring, I wouldn't steal his thunder. Get the frame.

I would let him ask you...he has bought the ring and he probably has something planned...I think it would be okay to buy him an engagement ring AFTER he proposes! I don't know your DB, but he might be upset that he didn't get to propose

Honestly... I about died waiting for DH to ask.. he had the ring for a WHILE and I KNEW and it drove me bonkers!!!!
I SOOOOOOOO should have just asked him first!!! ahahahaha
He was waiting for the "right moment" any wayssss??
I don't think it matters who asks.... And if some one were planning something special theres no reason to call it off if the girl asked 1st, he could hold on to the ring and ask you his way later and it will still be a surprise I'm SURE :) (He would be forced to out do your proposal :giggle)

Its not like its a big wow moment like "will you marry me?" out of the blue.
You are both just waiting on the ring... kwim?
I think you could plan something really special :) JMO
