Ok say the word drawer out loud to yourself a couple times....is it just me or is it a really awkward word to say??

Haha I hate it...not real sure why but it bothers me....anyone else find any words weird or awkward?

I have friends who say draw.... I grew up saying dror, but I know people who say draw-er.

Another one is broom. I say brum, and people used to make fun of me because I didn't pronounce it broooooom.

Funniest thing I ever heard, though, was a Japanese co-worker trying to say "squirrel." Remember they pronounce l's like r's, and the show 'squ' think is awkward for their tongue, and the poor thing looked like she had just eaten a pound of lemons whenever she tried to say it. She struggled with "dwarf" too.

Roy is a hard work for me to say, just say it a few times. Also brewery is a killer for me!! Drawer is one of those crazy one too!!

I have a hard time saying a lot of things...uhm....can't think of anything specifically at th emoment. Oh! Iron. I pronounce it I-ron. I know ppl usually call it an iern, but I just can't say it that way. There are words that I say that totally crack my dh up. And of course there are times like today when I asked him if his workend had started, instead of if his weekend had started. (work week ended and weekend all in teh same word). Oh,a nd that I had glass in my water instead of water in my glass.
