Okay so I originally posted about the option for me to move out and live by myself, or stay with parents when df leaves. We are getting married before he gets deployed, and will have very little time together. Well most ladies thought it would be better to stay at home and save money. Alright so heres my next question.

If I stay at home what do I do about the wedding/bridal gifts? What do I do with everything from the showers? Or, do I wait and have the showers when he gets home? Since we wouldnt be getting our own place, we wouldnt need the things, and they would just be stored. IDK what to do. :dunno Please give me some advice.

i would do the showers and everything and then just store them until you get your own place because i think otherwise people will be more reluctant to go to showers/give gifts if you've been married for so long!

We just stored ours away because it was a few months before we got our own place.

I'd store it.

storage :yes even if you have to do a climate controlled storage place the rent is a lot cheaper than rent and you'll be getting BAH so that will more than cover it :)

We stored all our gifts at my parents' house until he came to move me to his tech school... definitely do the showers right before/after the wedding, or people won't come, IMO.
