So as I've wanted a canon for YEARS now and seem to have aquired every brand.. BUT Canon.

I am REALLY beginning to look around.

Can some of you girls that have one, post your favorite shot with one? Just so I can see the capabilities and try to compare? Also what model do you have? Obviously those of you with the 40D.. I don't think I can swing that financially right now.. but hey, I'd love to see pics with those also :lmao :teehee

We have a Canon Powershot S1 IS

Here are a couple pictures taken last week at almost dusk (sunset) with contrails and clouds. We were trying to keep the foreground deliberately dark.

I went though like 4 canon cameras, I must have bad luck because all of them stopped working. Thought they took amazing shots but wanted to try a different brand after my last one broke. Right now I have a Nikon Coolpix. Here is a pic I took with that camera.

Mind you, when most of those pictures were taken, I had forgotten to adjust the white balance, so they could have come out looking better. I'm slowly learning how to use my camera. :rofl

What's the difference between the XTi and the XSi?

Rebel XT is 8.2 mp
Rebel XTi is 10 mp
Rebel XSi just came out a few months ago and it has 12mp I believe.

I have the Rebel XT, I've had it for about a year and a half now. I would REALLY love to upgrade to the 40d though. I do have a small photography business. Nothing to big, yet...but hopefully one day I will become well known :)

I have an SD1100IS and it's pretty compact. It's not one of the fancy ones others have used. I've only actually had it for a few days. I've taken a total of 5 pictures with it (lol). This is my favorite (unedited).

These are with the Canon Rebel XSi. :D So far I would say that it is SOOOOOO worth saving up to get it!!!

OK, these are all on automatic mode. I'm still learning, so I'm just gunna post ones that are from automatic mode.

These next ones were taken on the sports mode, so you can just hold down the shutter button and it will take 3.5 pictures per second. So if you put these ontop of eachother it would be like a flipbook. I know that you can do it so on the computer the picutres go through their progression, but I don't know a website that you can do it on.
