But now that it's out of the box, I really don't like it :suspect
I was thinking maybe of getting either...
Peter Potty (http://www.target.com/Peter-Potty-Flushable-Toddler-Urinal/dp/B000C22J2S/qid=1215098137/ref=br_1_2/602-0868393-4011045?ie=UTF8&node=13020211&frombrowse=1&rh=&page=1) (because he is constantly trying to stand like daddy and timmy)
or
Royal Step Stool Potty (http://www.target.com/Fisher-Price-Royal-Stepstool-Potty/dp/B000JNN6Q8/qid=1215098404/ref=br_1_8/602-0868393-4011045?ie=UTF8&node=13020211&frombrowse=1&pricerange=&index=tgt-mf-mv&field-browse=13020211&rank=pmrank&rh=&page=1)
FTCWifey 07-03-2008, 11:28 AM I have an amish potty. :teehee It is solid oak, has a TP holder on one side and a magazine/book holder on the other! Cost $100 but it is really cute, and they convinced me that I could use it as a planter when I was done using it as a potty.
I will have to get a pic of it. :lol
Laura48 07-03-2008, 11:36 AM I have the one you just got. Or something very very similar... I got mine from Wal Mart. Emma was never really into the little potty, she wanted to use the "big girl" potty. It gets more use as a step stool to wash her hands and brush her teeth.
Jordan 07-03-2008, 11:39 AM We have the same one as you. We haven't actually started potty training yet, so I'm not sure if we like it yet. DS loves to sit on it while mommy or daddy go potty. I think when we actively start potty training, I am just going to get him one of those seat that goes on the big potty.
sandykay 07-03-2008, 11:43 AM This is the one we have http://www.target.com/Fisher-Price-Laugh-and-Learn-Potty/dp/B000BGJSE2/sr=1-1/qid=1215099737/ref=sr_1_1/601-0206359-8644905?ie=UTF8&rh=k%3Afisherprice-potty&page=1 It makes noises and is soo cute and can still be used as a stool

That's the one I was going to get for DS, but he gets scared easily when things make noises, so I was afraid it would scare him and he wouldn't use it... :giggle
Green~Mammy 07-03-2008, 11:53 AM We have this one in Spring Green http://www.pottytrainingconcepts.com/Baby-Bjorn-Potty-Chair-z.html He rarely sits on it though the only times he has gone are when he is sitting on the big boy potty and for that we have this: http://www.pottytrainingconcepts.com/Soft-Potty-Seat-MH-z.html which we had gotten for Darian after he was potty trained.
Heather 07-03-2008, 11:53 AM I got a potty ring for my kids. It sits on the toilet seat and has handles. Its so much easier to clean. I was also worried about my kids not wanting to use the big toilet if they had a potty chair. I know thats an issue with some kids.
I was a nanny for a family and they had the musical one and two other simpler ones. I soaked those things in bleach water once a week and the musical one quit singing after awhile. Those potty chairs got so rank by the end of every week.

I always clean mine of after every use dump the waste in the toilet and then clean the waste catcher never had a rank potty chair issue.
MelissaMc424 07-03-2008, 11:59 AM We had this one and she hated it..http://babies-kids.pricegrabber.com/baby-potty-training/m/76397962/st=product/sv=image/
So we bought these: http://www.netshops.com/cart/shopper.cfm?action=view&key=GIN017&tid=GIN017&source=channel_intelligence_gbase&ci_src=14110944&ci_sku=GIN017-1

MommyToHunter 07-03-2008, 12:03 PM We used this one for quite awhile:

After we moved it to the bathroom we switched him to the big potty with a potty ring on it. He used that for awhile but now he just sits on the regular potty...he's got great balance now! haha
DakotaCowgirl 07-03-2008, 01:01 PM Our DS HATES the potty chair. He uses it more to read and color then anything.
We have the ring one upstairs so it is more like Daddy. We wanted him to have that one more because it is easier to clean and when we go to church, they use that.
Steph* 07-03-2008, 04:00 PM We have the Safety 1st 3-in-1, so far so good!
Alisha 07-04-2008, 10:33 AM Selah is using the Royal potty that plays music. I think it's pretty lame to be honest. It plays music all time, except for when she actually goes it doesn't do anything. It goes off and no one is even in the bathroom... So we just turned it off, and she's been using it just fine.
Donna 07-04-2008, 04:13 PM Chris doesnt use his anymore. If you want the royal step one, you can have ours for free:D

:yes

LOL!!! I, too, didn't care for that once I got it out of the box! Luckily, I bought the Royal Potty Stepstool potty as a back-up! We also have a folding potty seat (http://www.target.com/Ginsey-Sesame-Street-Folding-Potty/dp/B00076SL0I/sr=1-18/qid=1216176507/ref=sr_1_18/602-7062837-1019000?ie=UTF8&index=target&rh=k%3Apotty&page=1) and a potty seat insert (http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2720214) for the toilet. I like the Royal Potty, because now Ethan just stands on it to pee in the toilet or sits on it for #2. Occasionally, he'll still want to sit on it to pee...LOL! He's so indecisive sometimes. :giggle
aelsass 07-15-2008, 10:59 PM We used this one for quite awhile:

Thats the one we have.
wife-n-mommy 07-15-2008, 11:02 PM Ky has a cushy seat that fits over the regular toilet seat, and a step stool... she loves it... she never liked "potty chairs" because she said they aren't real potties, they don't have water :giggle
TexasArmyWife 07-16-2008, 09:04 AM We have two: The Laugh and Learn Potty and the Baby Bjorn Potty. Honestly I like the Baby Bjorn better because it isn't as distracting as the L&L... it seems more like a toy for her.
AG2Wife 07-16-2008, 09:36 AM we have
http://i33.tinypic.com/ie2zjk.jpg
which seems to be discontinued. It plays noises when she pees, sits on the potty & such. she doesn't really care to pee in it.. she drags it out of the bathroom to use it as a chair when im not looking
we also have one of those toilet inserts so she can sit & doesn't fall in!
