Oh the White Sox just suck. I grew up on the far NW side, and went to high school down the street from Wrigley Field. My parents grew up ont eh South Side and my father was a White Sucks fan until Eddie Einhorn sold the rights to their games to bable TV, before residents of the city of Chicago could even GET cable TV.

One of my brothers-in-law has a large family business in Wrigleyville, a factory about 3-4 streets south of Addison. We used to park there and walk up the train tracks, popping out by the Cubby Bear lounge.

I swear, sometimes I think my husband married me just because I'm from Chicago. Every time we visit the city, we have to make a pilgrimage to The Shrine at 1060 W. Addison St..... regardless of season. Of course, he didn't know much about Steve Goodman until he married me, but I've been teaching him.

49er's by geographical default. Technically Oakland was closer to me, but I'd rather die than root on the Raiders. However, I don't give a crap about football, I just like seeing touchdowns, regardless of who's making them. :lol

I am a true fan! I dont care that we lost! lol I'm a Red Sox fan and always have been so I'm used to awesome success and then heartbreak. But I will never give up on my Patriots!!!! I'm actually kinda glad cause when they lost we got rid of all the bandwagon fans that jumped on when we were winning like crazy.
