Is there anything going on on base for families tomorrow? And are they going to have a place for people to go and watch the fireworks over the water? :)

My dh said if you are wanting to go there to watch fireworks you can just go and park on base (at North Island) near the water. He said you can see fireworks from a few different places. Be warned though...after the fireworks it can take quite a while to get out of there and off the island all together. We didn't go last year, but the year before that it took an hour and a half to get off the island and across the bridge :lol piggypunkinetta 07-03-2008, 07:30 PM ASW base in Point Loma has the Freedom Festival. I have a feeling Cam would be watching from inside the car anyway. I'll make sure we've got enough gas in the tank if we go that route, thanks for the heads up! :yes ASW base in Point Loma has the Freedom Festival.
