So I'm sitting here reading SOS threads in my nice, quiet living room when I hear this MASSIVE "BOOOOOOM!!!" Evidently, the people across the street are doing fireworks (which, btw, is illegal in the city limits) and just scared the living daylights out of me.

lol, I am so used to hearing fireworks that it gets to me when it is quiet. We live in the fireworks capital of italy, they test fireworks daily

This will be my first year without hearing fireworks all day.....since we've been without rain for so long (with the exception of yesterday) they are handing out massive fines for anyone even caught with fireworks
