If anyone has transferred colleges before, how do you go about cancelling your enrollment at the other college?
I'm really confused and I need to have my final transcript from NC-State sent off, and I have no idea how I would go about doing that. I cancelled my request for housing, but the outstanding charges are still coming up on my E-bill.
:confuzzle
If anyone can tell me what they did when they transferred that'd be great!

usually they have an office where you can get copies of your transcripts and also send then out...i don't know about your school but ours was in the same area as where you got your student ID...and than usually if you go to the building where all the financial aid and other paperwork is usually done at they can tell you exactly where to go and what to do to disenroll....at my school you had to go to the Bursars office...and just fill out a piece of paper..but i don't know if it's the same for all colleges..

i went to the dean's office of my major dept and they just gave me a form.. if you have a student handbook or a catalog it will tell you what your college's policies are

Basically just filled out a couple of forms. Did you miss a deadline to cancel the housing?
Also make sure all your accounts are paid up, or else they won't release your transcripts.
Good luck!

I cancelled my request for housing via e-mail. And the lady said the 200 dollars for Spring Semester should be taken off of my account. I have 48 dollars for lab work from when I had a UTI that is still outstanding, I'm planning on paying that tomorrow.
My only problem is that I am 9 hours away from my former school :giggle.
When I went about filling out applicatiosn for transferring, I had to go to the registrar's office and get everything filled out and sent off. :( It's so confusing.
Unless I make a trip to NC in August..:confuzzle
