What colleges are close by? What can you tell me about them? I'm going for psychology, if that makes a difference.

I'll have to transfer once DF and I get married, but I want to start looking into schools and such right away because I do not want to take any time off.

I graduated from University of WA so I am partial to that school! :D

UW does have a branch in Tacoma also.

There is Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma.

Are you looking for a community college?

I'm at a community college right now, but I don't really like it so probably not.

What did you like about UW?

I loved everything about it. I went to the Seattle campus and it's beautiful. I loved most of my professors and it is a high ranking school so that doesn't look shabby on a job application.

That's very good to know, thank you!

Is it hard to get into though, if it's high ranking?

It is pretty tough to get into now. I'm amazed I got in. You need a 3.5 just to even be considered. You should look up washington colleges on google or something and get a list. Maybe that will help you get a better idea of what schools will fit your needs in regards to your degree.

I have a 3.7 so maybe. But I'm off to google now, thank you!

There's a few community colleges; DB used to go to Pierce CC and there's also Tacoma CC. I'm planning on signing up for Pierce once DB is deployed in sept.
