So, I posted a week or so ago about how dh sent me a nice gift card for my birthday, but I guess there was more.
You see, I've never made a big deal about my birthday because most people forget. Dh has missed my birthday the 3 years we've been together because of the military and I don't want him to feel guilty about that. I sat down at my desk this afternoon at work to find a dozen roses, a balloon and a teddy bear, along with the sweetest note:
"I promise you that someday I will be there for your birthday. Until then, remember that I am always there for we are merely two souls sharing the same heart." <3
There were definitely tears involved. I'll have to post pictures of it tomorrow because I didn't have my camera at work.
