i hate when he's sad! i just want to wrap him in my arms and squeeze as hard as i can! but i can't. :cheerup :consoling

he doesn't get sad very often; usually he's just kind of indifferent to everything that happens and doesn't feel much, so when he breaks down it all comes out at once. i just wish i could be there! he's never been very good at talking about his feelings on the phone, and he tries to do the best he can to explain, but it's SO hard when i can't see his face. because if i could see his face i'd know how upset he was. i'd know exactly what kind of sad/upset he was. and I CAN'T on the phone. :pout

i don't know what i expect out of this post; i'm not looking for advice or anything, i just know you all would relate to how FRUSTRATING it is. :hissyfit

I totally understand how you are feeling. Last week my DB was dealing with some conflict because people weren't doing their job right, he was so upset and depressed... and I felt terrible for not being able to just hug him so that he'll know I'm there for him. All I could do was try to talk to him on IM and emails, which are never the same as actually being able to comfort him in person. But I'm sure that your man knows how deeply you care, I'm sorry you're having to deal with this! :hugs

:hugs I know what you mean. I hate when db is sad, I feel so helpless. I want to do something, but there's nothing that I can do except make sure he knows I'm here, loving him, waiting for him, and supporting him. I know that knowing that helps him.

its so hard when they are sad/upset/sick/hurt...whatever it is that they are and there is NOTHING you can do about it....whenver DB is sick or sad...I am dying here because all i wanna do is hug him and make it all better!
