Oh yes! It's 7 years later and people still tell me how beautiful it was. It was a cinderella wedding.

No.
A hurricane came out of nowhere and I had 24 hrs to change everything. It was the best we could do under the circumstances.

Nope - we didn't have a dream wedding. But I never had a "dream" for any kind of a wedding ceremony. In fact, a few years before we married I swore I'd NEVER marry. :lol

But we had a very small ceremony with my parent's, my kids (just 2 at that time) lakeside at the scenic "Old Mill" in North Little Rock, AR

Very pretty - people have weddings there all the time (big and small) and it was free. LOL

And our honeymoon was one night together at our new apartment without the kids.

ooooo describe!

Well... it was pretty large... there were about 300 guests. Dh wore his dress blues, and so did all of his groomsmen. My bridesmaids wore Navy blue dresses with silver shoes. We had the Honor Guard there. There were 16 members... which the normal amount is 8, but DH was in the honor guard as well, so we had a bunch volunteer. They did the whole sword arch thing as I walked down the isle. They also did the arch outside the church after the wedding. I will have to post pictures of the wedding sometime. I have had several people ask for pictures. I haven't gotten around to scanning them. Maybe I will do it tonight.

I had more like fantasy wedding ideas, like doing it at the beach but i would stil say my wedding was my dream wedding. its was wonderful, short and sweet. tons of fun after... my biggest wish is that my grandparents and his parent had been able to come but other than that.....

we just did the JOP thing in Reno.

actually I never really cared. I didn't see the point to pay all that money for a wedding and instead we used the money for a great honeymoon and to buy stuff for our house.

the actual wedding itself wasn't important to either of us.

if we ever had to do it over again we'd just do something small on the beach with no shoes!

We did a courthouse wedding, but I've always dreamed of a big princess wedding. We're going to have one next year sometime.

your "dream wedding?" if not, what would you want it to be like?

yes, I did! It was small but very happy. We had lots of flowers and food and music. Weather was absolutely gorgeous! The honor guard came and so did lots of family and DH's buddies from the shop (though none of them could be forced into dress blues except DH!)

The only thing was that I didn't have any friends there besides my MOH and her family (which are the best friends I could ask for) as we got married at our new base.

But I have come to realize that my friends who didn't make the effort to come missed out...and I guess taught me a valuable lesson in who really are my close friends.

I wouldn't have changed a thing :P I am still working on getting some pictures up in the album!
