I had my hurricane wedding!
Everything went wrong... I had 24 hours to change my beach wedding. (The venue on the beach I was supposed to have it canceled on me due to some outer bands... they wouldn't even do it indoors, inside their restaurant. It really wasn't that bad of a storm in the end, oh well.) With great contacts and help we managed to hold it at a Hyatt on the bay in Tampa. We were up all night and running around hours before the wedding trying to buy things and stage a beach wedding in a ballroom. The cake arrived the wrooong color. It was storming outside. My hubby flew in hours before the wedding, and flew out the next morning. It was def not what I had been saving up for and planning for 9 months.
But it was our day, and I was happy for everyone to know I was his wife! We had to legally marry for orders in February but that's just our day, we didn't really share that with anyone and we weren't living as a married couple yet. So July 9th is very special to me. One day we will renew, on the beach as we planned, but this was our day, hurricane and ALL!

Hard day for my sweet papa... we were moving over here shortly after, so he was "losing" me in multiple ways that day. Poor man! I'm his only girl, can you tell!
Oh, and this is his for his mother who boycotted the wedding and said we wouldn't make it 3 years! :flippa
