Online via your local cc.

Thanks. I did that. I think I am just afraid of being taken advantage of. Not being able to transfer credits, etc...kwim?

Figure out where you want to go for your 4 year and they usually have agreements with a few junior colleges. They you are assured that your credits and degree transfers over. Otherwise you are always at a risk of not having credits transfer.

Aside from that, take BASIC classes if you don't know where you want to pursue your four year. You can't go wrong with English 101, Psych 101, PoliSci, College Math, etc.

Good luck!

Well you don't HAVE to be committed to ANYTHING to get info. And if a school tells you that then run the other way.

Some online schools are shady and some are very nice. The Art Institute is GREAT. (I go there and they have several physical campuses as well as one campus that's devoted to their online programs.) However it's a bit pricey and might not be what you're looking for.
