So, I see they just raised the GI Bill again.
My husband got out in March 2008, does he qualifiy for the raise since he hasn't activated the GI Bill yet, or did his cap off at whatever the amount was when he got out?

Soooooo.... DJ didn't go in until March 6, 2002.
I read the article and scanned it again, still didn't make heads or tails of it. Might be that it's the end of the day and my brain is on auto-pilot.

basically if you served 3 years post 9/11 you will get the full amount. if you got out say 1 year after that you will get a percentage, the more you serve the bigger your percentage till you max out at 3 years. Don't know if that makes much sense. Plus since he paid the enrollment fee he will get that back in the form of additional benefit after his GI Bill is used up.
