We live in the townhomes so it wouldn't be the same as what you guys qualify for, but I just wanted to say that we love it here. Love love it! :)

:edit Cyndilou lives here, she might be able to do it for ya. :)

Awww, thanks for the feedback ladies! I really appreciate it. When we lived in Murphy Canyon, I don't think we were too far from there but I never actually went over there :dunno So, I am not really sure what they even look like on the outside or the general feel for the neighborhood/area. I'm curious to know what kind of floor plan they have, like how the living room and dining area are set up. If we do go into housing, I'm pretty sure that's the area we'll be in. I'm just nervous b/c I don't know anything about them!

Ugh I can't find them. I practicaly lived there and have nothing uploaded :duh

Tried to steal from her myspace but she's only got pics from the new house and she's in TX till the end of the month.

The layout was sweet. HUGE ASS backyard. You walked into a little entryway, to the left was a doorway to the kitchen. from the kitchen there is a laundry room that leads to the garage. ugh crappers its so hard to describe it. let me make a ghetto fab picture for you

Is there a place for a dining table? We've run into some really weird set ups in military housing as far as dining areas go :lol So I was mainly wondering if we'd have the room for a 6 person table... you know like a casual dining set up but a good sized table that will seat all of us?

Its so weird how some of the 4 bedroom houses don't have dining areas (both of our homes in great lakes) at all... nowhere. You had to either get a little tiny nook or a little dinette set that seats like 2-4 people, which is just odd for a 4 bedroom home. They know you have kids, so it makes no sense! :lol

Are the livingrooms okay?

Right now, our livingroom is smaller than our masterbedroom :( It is SOOO SOOOO SOOOOO small. I want to say it's MAYBE 8 foot by 8 foot or so. We have our couch in there and our TV and that is ALL we can fit. We can barely even walk around the couch. It's beyond miserable :( So, I'm hoping where ever we go will have a little bit more room than this. :sigh I am not majorly picky but this is just sort of ridiculous. Everyone who comes in here is always like "Wow... your livingroom is.... small" :lol

Okay my picture does NO justice to the house and then after drawing it I realized she was in a 3 bedroom :duh

BUT the living room was HUGE she had a 60" widescreen, huge entertainment center and 2 couches with tables in there along with a desk behind one of the couches and there was still room for us to throw a wetdown with 80 people :lmao

Her backyard was right upagainst the park with a gate so we could go from house, to backyard to the park. it was nice with the kids.

:roflmao It's actually not a bad drawing at all :lol but I do think it's hilarious that you can whip one up that quick. I've tried to do those before and it did not go well :lol

Well, the set up looks nice. I'm sure we'll sacrifice some of the living space for the 4th bedroom, but that's okay with us. I really don't think we could get any more small or cramped than we are right now. We have a three bedroom with a livingroom that's the same size as a bedroom. So, I think just about anything would give us a bit more room. The yard will be really nice also. We don't really have one in these townhomes, it's just a patio, then enough yard to lay like 5 or 6 of those bricks that you walk on across to get to the back gate. So, I think just about any of the housing out there would rock, at this point :lol

Thank you for taking the time to draw that out, it does truly help a lot just to see the basic floor plan of it. I saw the pics of the front of the homes and I wondered if those two little windows in the front were livingroom windows. So, it's good to know that it's actually bedroom windows instead. :yes

NP. I have that house memorized like my hand. I spent WAYYYY too much time living there when her husband was DI'ing and I was going through my divorce. The house ayout itself is very nice. the bedroom 2 was big enough she had soid wood bunk beds, with 3 dressers and toys so the boys could share and she took the 1st as her scrapbooking room. Which then overflowed into the laundryroom :lmao

The neighborhood is pretty quiet. Just becareful not leave a 6ft snowman blownup out front of your house when you go to work :rofl That was classic. She called me and said I think frosty's gone. Hmmm how in the hell do you THINK a 6ft white looking snowman in your front yard is gone. Not like he took a walk around the neighborhood :rofl That was pure classic humor though.

Anyways yeah they are nice for single family homes.

Well, I spoke with the housing lady today after submitting all of our page 2, housing appl, etc and she said that #1 the wait list for the four bedrooms is between 6-10 mos for chesterton and #2 we are qualified for the 5 bedroom which they don't have in chesterton anyway.

I told her I didn't care whether we were in 4 or 5 bedrooms, doesn't matter really but I thought the wait list for the 5 bedroom was even longer than the 4 bedrooms, so it wouldn't do us much good to be on an even longer wait list.

So, I guess IF we go into housing, we'll probably be in Murphy Canyon. :dunno I'm still looking at places in town to possibly buy though.

That is the same floor plan as some of the three bedrooms in Admiral Hartman. :)
