1. go home in a few weeks
2. Host my friend over labor day weekend
3. take the LSAT
4. get into law school
5. tone up with yoga and pilates
Ooh, fun. Let's see.
In no particular order:
1. Finish my summer classes with my sanity intact (and maintain my gpa).
2. Start a "preschool" at home for my daughter since I'll be home with her much more once the fall semester starts.
3. Get the house organized.
4. Figure out our travel plans for Christmas and next summer (will probably buy plane tickets for the former in the next couple of months).
5. Find a new homecoming outfit (I've decided the one I already have is too fancy).
6. Tone up a bit? Probably won't happen. By the time my daughter is in bed I'm too tired to work out, and "nature walks" just aren't cutting it.
Wow, I'm a boring person.

2. Host my friend over labor day weekend
3. take the LSAT
4. get into law school

Good luck with law school- that will be a FABULOUS distraction for YEARS beyond your DH's deployment ;) (I'm a practicing attorney for a year and a half now- my LSAT/lawschool/bar exam wounds are still fresh!.
Okay, so DB leaves September for training then Iraq- I'm into the whole one thing to look forward to a month- so here's my first attempt:
Sept-Aruba with my fam
Oct- Kaia (my puppy) turns one!
Nov. - ???
Dec. - I would say the holidays, but I have a feeling they will SUCK this year
Jan- I'll get my raise at work as of 1/1 :-)
Feb- mine and DB's b-day... and if we're REALLY lucky, his R&R should be this month too :-)
okay... that's it for now... I gotta work on this... :whatever
KaylaKLaF 07-11-2008, 04:11 PM This is such a good idea...
Well DB leaves for a month of training tomorrow and then will only be home for 10 days before Iraq. So these are my goals for the next month...
*Get the house more done, organized, decorated, and cleaned, which is going to be sooo much work, like every day after work, I'll be working on the house.
*Get waxed the week before he gets back
*Plant some flowers in the bare flowerbeds
*Get the grass greener
*Plan the trip that he wants to take to the ocean
