Ok, most of you who have read my posts in the past few days know that Ive been in a slump. So! I decided...Im going to the beach! :cp I havent been to the beach in over a year. Its my favorite place to go. I booked a hotel room and Im looking forward to spending my time alone. Its the most excited I have been since DB left.
Its the one place I know that I can go and be alone, have fun, and keep my mind off of things. Cant wait to go to all the little shops along the beach (my fav.)
Plus I need to get out to the coast and away from Sacramento. The fires are horrible. The sky looks like its cloudy and foggy all day, not to mention the smell.

wow you're so lucky! that sounds sooo nice. exactly what i wanna do! have lots of fun getting away, relaxing and soakin up the sun!!:)

The beach has definitely been my saving grace throughout this deployment so far! I hope you have a lot of fun and get out of that slump!! :)

OMG you read my mind, I have been in a slump also, and that would be such an awesome thing to do. I live right next to the beach, but going away somewhere for a few days just to be by myself and think or actually NOT think about deployment would make my day. I hope you have a wonderful and relaxing time! :hugs

Im going to go to Bodega Bay...I havent been there. I was hoping to get down to San Diego, but I dont think I can make it this summer cause of work.

That is a fantastic idea. DS and I are headed to the beach in exactly 1 month. I'm lookin forward to it! :D

ohh ohh yea ive never been there.. i used to live up on the central coast before moving down here to San diego with DH. so thats why i was asking.. i bet its pretty up there too!!! :P
