What is your view on wearing leggings? Where would you wear them?

I know this is a silly thing to debate, but I thought it would be fun.

Hmmmmmmmmm I wear them under jeans when it's cold.

Otherwise it makes me feel like an 8th or 9th grader :lol

I said maybe. If I had nice enough legs to wear that tight of clothing, I would so wear them. I think some people look way cute in them.

I think that sometimes they can look REALLY cute under a tunic-like top, otherwise, I say no go, I know that *I* personally do not look good in them! :teehee

ive worn them a few times... mainly if i have a dress thats a little short or too cold for winter...

i dont really wear them much tho b/c my 15 yr old sister wears them almost everyday! haha! id rather wear jeans and a tshirt!

but... i have no problem with thme, as long as the person has something over them ;)

I like the mid calf length for under shorter tunic dresses... and like you chicas... in just neutral colors (black, brown, creme.... I prefer black)

I wear them under dresses that are a little too short for comfort or loooong tops... I also wore them under EVERYthing when I was preggo, just for the support. :D

I think the main reason I'm scared of leggings is because of my thighs... I dont wanna look like cottage cheese.

That is something a little kid or maybe a teen would wear. I think they date you and make you look older then you really are. Kinda like trying to recapture your childhood.

i said maybe.....i've never worn them but see them more us a younger trend. Majority of the kids I taught wore leggings and the were in elementary/middle school

I wear them... I love them... They make me feel pretty and attractive...

They definitely aren't for me. If I tried to wear leggings it would like big sausages being shoved in a sleeve, just not appealing. . . I think they are adorable on girls with nice legs, but I also have the opinion that anyone that is considerably overweight loses the privilege to wear spandex or leggings.


Disclaimer: I am not bashing fat people, I am a fat woman, and thinks it's ridiculous for fat people in general to cram themselves into clothes that are not appropiate.

I like the way they look on other people but have been too scared to buy them. Even though I am in my last year of 20's I feel like I would look silly. Almost like I'm trying not to "grow" up. :dunno Just how I think people would see me.

i am way to big but i wear them all the time especially with long shirts or short dresses. i love them and i have worn them since i wore them in the 80's and my oldest wears them now too lol i love them.

Anyone remember the show "Daria?" There was an episode where the preppy girls went to a restaurant and saw a bunch of old waitresses in leggings and the young girl was also wearing them. She started freaking out cause she was wearing the same nasty things.
