I was disappointed. For the money I paid for it on the website, I expected more.

Ya same here.

I think I paid about 35 for the ones that go to the knee. I thought it was gonna be different but it was like wearing stockings.

As far as I can gather, they are just tight things that are supposed to help you look skinnier, right?

Those only work for people either A) have very little to hide or B) just want to smooth out a bit.

I've never used spanx because well... I never thought they'd WORK. I'm not skinny enough and my fat already has few lumps... so wearing them would just be uncomfortable rather than make me look better.

Squeem is better.
If I get a smaller size than the size chart says for the spanx, they do ok.

I love spanx! They are pretty pricey... but now Target has the line that is the same product, only cheaper. Those seem more worth it to me.

Heard of them and considering getting a pair to go under a dress I have to wear in Sept. I don't want to be squeezed in, but smoothing out a bit would be nice.

I've heard they are all the rage in Hollywood and such. Never used them myself. I'd be willing to try though.
