I'm trying to find some ideas for a quick vacation with in a 2-3 hour drive from Houston. Does anyone know any good places to visit?

i cant remember how long the drive is but the riverwalk in SA is nice.. ALOT of places down there give good military discounts and theres SO much to see around it..

sea world is there too if im not mistaken.. they have mil discounts and free for families with deployed so's or AD man im not sure someone else know?? dont want to give false info!!!

im just all into saving money thats all :)

yup it's about 2 1/2 -3 hours from west houston. sea world is there as is fiesta texas
