So the first interview was more of an information session about the company and I decided it was something I didn't want to do (insurance sales). The interview for the job I really wanted went awesome and I have a second interview on Monday. It's an all day interview, which I've never done before but I'm super excited! :toocool

I got the job! I start tomorrow! It's not super exciting. I'm a marketing rep and it's all sales at first but the opportunity for advancement is awesome! The guy I was with today said the manager has been with the company less than 18 months and makes over $100,000 a year and the manager started in the same position that I got. Plus they have locations all over the world. I don't know if I would be able to transfer, per se, but I'm sure if I had to start over at a different location I'd be able to move into a manager position quickly.

So the job turned out to be nothing like I expected. After the interview they kept talking about how you could make it to management in 6 months. Yeah 6 months of working 70+ hours a week, walking business to business doing sales.:sigh I lasted two 12 hour days and made $10. I'm probably going to deliver newspapers and focus on school until we PCS in early December. :neutral

BOO. HOw come you only made $10?

They paid on commission and I was just in training so I didn't actually complete any sales. The guy that was training me actually gave me the $10 out of the money he made. :giggle
