Does nail polish turn your toe nails yellow at all if it's been on too long? I got my toes done a while ago and when I took the nail polish off they were all yellow. My nails have never looked like that before.
And question #2. I have extremely dry feet, peeling skin and all. I think it's from working out in the field for the past few months. I've tried putting lotion on them, it hasn't helped too much though. Are there any good remedies or lotions that might get rid of the dry skin?
Thanks much!

yes, nail polish turns my toe nails yellow, depending on the color...for the dry skin try miricle foot cream...or the dr. shouls (SP) foot lotion

1. It depends on the quality of the nail polish. The more pricey ones (like OPI) won't turn your nails yellow, cheaper ones are more likely to do so. It also depends on the nail polish color- stuff like yellow, green, and blue might discolor your nails.
2. Put lotion on before bed, and then put socks on. I saw some moisture-locking socks at Wal-Mart in the feet/lotion department. They're a few dollars, but they really help with dry feet. Oh! Make sure you exfoliate with a foot scrub or a pumice stone.

yes, your nails can get yellowy if the polish is on too long and they can't breathe.
the dry skin...maybe try applying a heavy lotion at night and then put socks on (so it soaks into your skin & doesn't rub off in your sheets or evaporate)

you can get rid of the yellow color if you soak your toes in hydrogen peroxide.

Thank you all for the suggestions. It was a light blue nail polish that was on my toes, I have no clue about the brand though. My nails are growing out though, they are only half yellow now, lol. I will also try a few of the dry skin suggestions, I am almost embarrassed to wear sandals, so I will try anything!

:yes either that or soak them in bicarbonate of soda mixed in with water - that's what they sometimes use during manicures to whiten nails.
