Quick question that hopefully someone can answer :D
I have been patiently waiting for the civie specialist I am seeing to call me back in regards to my referal for a test and I have yet to get anything. Can I call Tricare to see if my referal has been processed and get a copy of it so that I can make my appt?? Or will they tell me nothing and have me call my doc again??
Really don't want to call and hold for nothing if you kwim

You can call Tricare. You can also register on www.mytricare.com and it should have your referrals on there too.

Oooh..I didn't know about checking there. I am registered there, thats how I set all my appt's up for my PCM.
I will check there and call if I don't see anything

I go there and www.tricareonline.com all the time. Tricareonline always shows me when my appointments are, I forget often! lol

Yea, I just realized that they are 2 different sites :lol...not registered at the frist one after all :lol

you can call tricare. once the referral is in the system (most important part) you should be able to get an update, etc.

Call Tricare and find out where they're at with the referral. You should hear something too, along with a letter in the mail stating whether the referral has been approved or not.

I can never figure anything out online. I just call and get my auth # from them and then call and make my appt. Good luck!!
