Hickam or PH commissary?

I like Hickam, but the Navy com. has a lot more stuff so when I need more variety I go there.

Hickam, I refuse to go to PH! Too many people, and the baggers are assholes. I had one lady put my groc in plastic bags and then she realized that I had the green ones she just put the plastic bag in the green one. I was like that defeats the purpose of the bag. Every time I go in there I have a bad experience.

When we lived there, I preferred the Hickam one to PH. But, if we were at church, we would swing by the Schofield commissary on our way home.

Looks like Hickam is the preferred one :D

Yup! I hate Pearl... I get run into by crazy old people there too! :(

I like Kaneohe commissary, when we lived there. But, that's quite a drive for some of you who live on the other side. :)

I prefer PH, when it's just opened, during the week and not around payday, LOL. I hate Hickam's, the layout doesn't make any sense and I'm not impressed w/their selection. I do go there when I want to be in and out though and it is definately very quiet!

I swear PH runs better deals too.

We lived at KBay, but I tended to go to Hickam because it was bigger and it just gave me an excuse to go to that side of the island. It was always the quietest, especially in the middle of the week. I could browse the AAFES, eat lunch, then hit up the commy.

i think i am the only one who prefers the pearl harbor commy lol, i just know exactly where everything is there!! but my dad wont shop anywhere but the hickam commy.

I always liked PH better because of the selection. Crowds don't bug me so much, but I still always try to go to the commissary on the days leading up to payday when everyone is usually broke. :lol And I prefer to go in the morning, though my lazy butt doesn't always allow for that.

I've noticed a slight difference in prices too. PHs prices are lower on certain items.

I use KBay because well I can WALK there........

I was in pearl harbor's once and while nice, holy cow it was a ZOO!!!!

I used to shop at Hickam's all the time when we lived in Ewa, because at the time the PH commissary/NEX didn't exist like they are now. They were old and scary.

Hickam. I refuse to go to PH unless I have too :)

I prefer Hickam or the NEX depending on what I'm doing around that time. We live on Kbay, I'm not found of their produce or Deli.

everyone here is saying the same thing and i agree... my SO and just moved from hawaii a few month ago... my husband doesn't like crowds very much, so he loved hickam cause it was ever very crowd, and i liked hickam because i'm a AF Brat and because i like there bakery better. BUT the nex has way more options because it so much bigger but hickam mostly the same stuff. But if you can handle the crowds then the nex is ok.
