Anyone located there? It would be really nice to get to know some people before I even get there! We will be leaving sometime in October. But that is all I know because I guess we don't get any more information until 30 days before he comes home. Which is so irritating! I'm trying to plan our wedding and the possibility of a honeymoon is getting smaller and smaller. He says he only has 8 days of leave after being gone for 6 months.. that just doesn't seem right. And we can take an extra 11 days of leave but only if we pay our own way to AK. That 8 days ends on the day after our wedding. I don't k now what to do!

We're up here, well sort of. My name is Katherine and he's Brent, we're about to get married also, in September. He was active a few years back and then he decided to get out, now we're trying to get back active duty and it seems almost impossible. He's in the reserves right now, and for the next six months he has 'training', so for that time it'll be as if he was active.
