when i started my job last year, my coworkers asked if i knew what the blue angels were & then proceeded to tell me they'd be practicing outside my window in a few weeks & it would be kinda annoying. my response was :nutts!

i love it. i don't do much work that day.

now that our construction has started, i'm sharing an office, so it'd be a tight squeeze. i'll check my boss' schedule. if she's not in the office, that'd be sweet.

wanna go to the show with me? i plan on going both days cuz you can get 2 for the price of one buying your ticket from a 76 station, apparently. there's not a lot of details on that online. i'm gonna check it out sunday.

Thursday, July 31: 9:45 a.m.-12 noon & 1:15-2:30 p.m. (Circle & Arrival Maneuvers to become familiar with the area.)
Friday, August 1: 1:30-2:30 p.m. (Practice Show)
Saturday, August 2: 1:30-2:30 p.m. (Full Show)
Sunday, August 3: 1:30-2:30 p.m. (Ful Show)

I would be out of class for that! I get out at one. :woot Is there a place on the roof of the building or something? I don't want to impinge on your space at work and get you in trouble. I might have to explore campus better..... :thinking

now that i look at the schedule, it might be thurs that they are practicing outside our windows...when they are getting used to the area.

i'll find a spot for you...lol. the doc next door to us doesn't use his office often & he owes me. i can let you in there. actually, i'll prolly have to leave my office so my co worker can work.

They are catching the ship in everett and taking to i dunno, I dont pay attention LOL

ok rei, the boss is totally out of the office on thurs. on fri she's mostly in...but i can still find blue angel viewing for you. i'll have to ask my co workers to remind me if it's thursday or friday.

i thought that they wern't doing a show on Sat. Just practice and then a show on Sunday. We are going to SeaFair on Sunday just to see the show. I guess it will be the last year here. From what the news said.

WHAT???? they're not coming back. that really really really sucks. :(

i've got my ticket for both days. i bought it at a 76 station. you get 2 days for the price of one. my co worker has a house down in that area, so i am gonna park at her place. woo hoo.

They go right by my office window too!! I have a wedding on Sunday so wont get to see the show :( but I'm excited to watch them practice.
