Orleck Heights or Santo Terrace???

I'm not really liking the photos for Aero :giggle

They are all sort of the same, IMO. Orleck has some single story units and tends to have bigger yards but I think Santo has been newly remodeled so they have a different layout and newer stuff inside. They honest didn't seem all that different to me though, they were just on different sides of the road. It's all right there in the same little neighborhood area though and they're all decent. None of them are overly tiny or gross, they all have yards even though some are kind of small, most are getting central a/c too. So, it really wouldn't matter all that much to me and I don't think they really give you a choice in the matter anyway, to be honest. I think when you select MC for your wait list, they just give you which ever unit they have available first.

Ahhh k! We'll just see what happens then! :)

I really want Sophie and Maycie to have a decent sized yard... I'm sure everything else will come together just fine... they just need a yard! :)

We were in orleck and I'm pretty sure that orleck has the biggest yards :yes ours was a REALLY REALLY good size compared to any other military housing we've ever seen.

But we only have 4 and 5 bdrms so you're outta luck anyways

we used to live in Oreleck and now in Santo and we wish we could have stayed in oreleck...better spacing between neighbors bc you're not in a 4plex just a duplex and the yards were bigger so we enjoyed it more over there as far as the house but we like our neighbors here better....

We're planning to just buy a few window units also. We both grew up with only window units so it shouldn't be too bad, especially in SD is hardly EVER hot. I was cold even during the summer there :rofl

We liked these better than MC because they are single family homes and it looks more like a regular neighborhood an dnot military housing. I hope that makes sense.

Yes, we have a sliding door off the Living room that goes onto the patio. There is also a door off the laundry room door going outside.

So we can put the doggy door in the sliding door and use the other door to go in and out if we want that way it stays locked! :) I'll probably be the only one home a lot anyway since Dh is going to do his best to make SEAL/s LOL!! I'll have that house locked down like a fortress with my two watch dogs! :)

Just to give ya a heads up, the townhomes don't have backyards, just little patios. We live in them. :) Only the single family homes for senior enlisted peeps have backyards.

I live in Aero and have a beautiful 4 bedroom home. Huge yard brand new carpets and flooring. Most importantly AC. Yeah, the pics dont show how nice it really is here.

We lived in both Santo Terrence and Orleck Heights and I love Orleck Heights because of the big yard and i had my backyard facing the canyon, it just had a nice feel to it. I like Santo Terrence because it was newer, but the rooms was smaller and my kids did not have much of a front yard to pay in.

Keep in mind that i stayed in the three bedroom on Yorktown Dr in Santo Terrence. I stayed in a two bedroom in Keppler when we were in Orleck Heights and if i wasn't because of drama and i needed more space we would of probably stayed in Orleck Heights. If i can find the pics i'll send you the house we had in Orleck Heights. Its nice.

anyone have pictures of the houses the live in so I can see too? We got orders for SD too, and don't even know where to start looking for a place or how it even works.

never lived anywhere but santo, but oreleck has BIG back yards, BUT no washer dryer just the hook up...Santo has the ok sized back yards and a washer dryer...I'd take the washer dryer over a big backyard any day.
