DH knows his clothing allowance is suppose to come up soon (he thinks), so I'm verifying it, is it every year the month you joined? And is there anywhere I can find out how much it is going to be, I need to figure out what he needs and make sure we have enough for it kwim?

here is the 2008 clothing allowance rates

they get it usually the payday after they joined. IE dh joined June 22nd so his comes on the July 1st payday.
Basic is for those with 3 years or less in service and standard is for those over the 3 year mark. hth
