Ok, I have naturally curly hair and it's REALLY REALLY thick and poofy and frizzy. It looks bad curly so I always straighten it. I've tried several different shampoo's that are supposed to help to "tame" or even straighten out curly hair a little but but nothing has worked very well. I ran out of shampoo this morning so I thought now would be a good time to ask if anyone has any suggestions...thanks!

I don't know of any straightening shampoos that actually work, but I will definitely recommend the whole Ojon line....my mom and I both use it(my hair is straight, hers is curly, and both SO dry) and it is wonderful. SO wonderful.

I have the same kind of hair. I use Matrix plus I use Matrix biolage conditioning balm. It does wonders for my hair.

I have the same hair type as you :yes

I buy my shampoo at the dollar store. I then invest more money in super hydrating conditioners, it seems to work well.

I have really, really curly hair- and I just don't shampoo often. Curly hair is naturally EXTREMELY dry. I only shampoo about every 3-4 days, and I use conditioner/leave in conditioner everyday. I use a moisterizing shampoo. My hair has been SO much more manageable since I started doing that.

I have naturally curly hair too but I don't use a special shampoo to straighten it. I use Biosilk finishing spray and Herbal Essence Dangerously Straight spray. Also I might know an old trick to get your hair a little healthier (tho I think it's gross). DB's grandma has naturally curly hair as well and once a week she washes her hair w/RAW EGGS. It hydrates it and makes it shiny. I've never tried it cuz I think it sounds gross but it might work.
