how long does it normally take for BAH to show up in your paycheck after you get married?

df is already stationed & done with basic & everything.

we are getting married soon & are looking at apartments, but I was wondering how long it normally takes them to get it started after you get all your paperwork done.

it depends on when he puts in the paperwork. Presuming he puts it in right away and everyone is on top of it 4-6 weeks.

Ours took 6 weeks. It sort of depends on when you put the paperwork in. If it's after the 20th of the month, I think it's pretty common that it can take to the end of the next month to show up, which is where the 4 to 6 weeks comes in.

we got married june 27th, dh put in for it right after our honeymoon.. so 2nd week of july. our bah and bah back pay are supposed to be on the next check. so that was not even a month.

we put in the paperwork on march 6th, we saw the money in his pay april 1st :) but i've heard stories that some people didn't get there's for 3 months or so
