Hi, I just moved from LA to central Cal to wait out my husband's one year assignment to Turkey. The closest base to me is NAS Lemoore, but that is 50 miles. I am hoping to make a connection with another spouse who in the same boat.....stuck killing time waiting for our spouses to return. My husband just left 2.5 weeks ago. My husband is AF. I have two daughters that are 10 and 3, and a son on the way in the next few months. I miss the companionship of military wives. Civilians struggle to understand what deployements are like.
